LGB 21426 Ge 4/4 III Electric Locomotive "Lanxess''

Anybody got one of these loco's? Am I correct in thinking if I wish to add DCC and sound, a suitable decoder will just plug in?
Price wise, it looks like i can get a brand new one with warranty for just under £400 - looking at UK prices this seems cheap. Have I come across a good deal or am I just looking in the wrong places in the uk?

No, but I've got the similar 'CO-OP' version.

Mine had a 'DCC Interface' and I just plugged in a decoder with that interface and it worked. I expect this is the same. There is a place for a speaker in the loco, you need to work out which size speaker will fit it (sorry can't remember off the top of my head what size you need).

Thanks for the input. Looks like I'm ordering one tomorrow. Paypal kindly sent me a 10% off voucher, added to the very good price, it'd be rude to turn down! And I'm thinking of going the ESU decoder and sound route
