For sale are a total of 15 LGB Santa Fe ore cars set number 45040.
I have three complete sets in boxes and 3 separate ore cars which are not boxed.
All the cars are in good condition though there is a bit of dust in some of the less accessible areas. They have been in my train shed for several years. These make up a very impressive train as you can see from the photo.
Each set of 4 is complete with the LGB close couplings as well as the standard ones (close ones are fitted).
The three individual cars are identical but 2 have been fitted at the beginning and end of a train so have hook and loop couplings. There are 2 close couplings between the three cars and additional hook and loops for the ends that do not have them will be provided.
The illustrations show the close coupling fitted.
They also show that all the cars are fitted with Bachmann metal wheels which can be left on but will at an additional cost.
Each 4 car boxed set is £180 with plastic wheels or £210 with metal wheels
Each unboxed car is £40 each with plastic wheels or £50 each with metal wheels. All 3 together are £115 (plastic wheels) and £140 metal wheels.
The whole set (all 15 cars) can be had for £600 (plastic) £730 (metal wheels)
I also have the caboose shown in the photo and will list it later but if you are looking for one and you want all the ore cars let me know.
Postage is at cost and I have not looked it up or you are welcome to come and pick them all up. I may be able to organise a drop off in
