theres not much to do-plug the tender into the loco-select the switch -off-smoke and lights-or motor smoke and lights
be careful with the tender steps -part for these are diffcult to obtain
smoke units work best when filled no more than half way
dont overload the engine-ive heard that some of these chinese locos have had gears crack, i believe
with moderate loads im certain there wil be no problem-
finally the lube should include the rod pins-and axles-inclusing a very obscure one that is between the drivers-it is the end of the pin whcih holds the idler-a drop into the holes on each side will help lube this piece as well
the chinese lube imho can use a little help with real lgb grease
they are wonderfully smooth, a my 2 are prolific smokers
and while a proportional abomination, are still fun -big time loco feel in a tiny body-these look great double headed for some reason-sort of a US Mike in a tender equipped stainz sized loco
