I am in the process of fitting a replacement drive axle which has involved removing the wheels and replacing them on a new axle.
On fitting the axle back on the loco I have a problem with jerky running. I have tried rotating the axle slightly in relation to the front one without success. It seems that I will have to remove one wheel and rotate it slightly but before I do that I wonder if anyone can confirm please if I have fitted the rocking linkage between the running board and the rear axle correctly.
Foolishly I forgot to photoograph it before dismantling it. &:
