Hi I am after a connector for the reed output on my lgb? sound board. I have been in to maplins but they cant supply any small enough. Its the 3 pin kind, has anyone managed to get hold of one or know anywhere that I will be able to?
Thanks Sam

Farnell, Radiospares, Rapid Electronics or CPC should have what you are looking for. Board edge connectors come in all sorts of strange sizes, often greatly dependant on where the board was made. US companies often specify oddball connectors for some reason. It would be a good idea to first find out what the connector is actually called. Farnell will probably be able to advise, as would any of the more knowledgeable lads from MERG which is 'the' model railway electronics group, often to be found at larger model railway exhibitions.

Cheers.

Thanks for the info, an order has been placed. Just one more thing, what is the "clock" output for?

The "clock" connector allows you to connect a "chuff" sensor - so you can sync the sounds with the motion.
Thanks for the order btw.
