This maybe not be quite the re mitt of GSC but this Freelance Pacific designed by LBSC and I believe referred to as a Lafayette, please correct me if I am wrong here, is worth a mention as it can be seen running at a Gauge 3 meet in the UK.
Previous references to G3 has drawn some interest and I believe that 2 1/2" still has it's inter nation following.
This coal fired version is basically rather too powerful to run at a Gauge 3 scenic style meeting and is perhaps 'more at home' at a National 2 1/2 gauge meet and driven from behind sitting on a trailing truck.Radio control however in this instance keeps the beast under some kind of control!
