Listing on UK ebay but won't ship to UK!

I was looking for a black DR Saxon 1K and found this:
Dampflokomotive BR 99.75 LGB 21985 | eBay
A very good price for a new model.
However on contacting the seller to find out the cost of postage, he wrote back to tell me that they don't ship to the UK!
So the point of listing on ebay UK is?

Box not ticked for postal exclusions when setting up listing. I hadn't sold much for a while and didn't spot the changes to the format for a while. There's a few things that have altered which I don't like, but then I'm only a seller so it doesn't matter?!?!?!
