ntpntpntp Registered 4 Apr 2014 #2 Had it happen with an N gauge loco. The magnet became detached from the motor casing and jammed the armature. Tiny blob of Araldite to the rescue! Also had a motor jam due to the brushes wearing to the point they fell through the shaft and the spring jammed on the commutator. Not had a problem with any G scale motors so far.

dutchelm Registered 4 Apr 2014 #3 The last LGB motor I had solidify was due to part of the brush coming adrift.
