Mix and match LCE sets

Happened to find this video on youtube, and thought it was a neat idea - LGB LCE sets with one old-style ('locomotive') end and one new-style ('emu'/'driving trailer') end to represent ICE2 trains.

I like the repainted set. And yes, the description under the video indicates that the bags are lead shot filled. There is a guy from Italy that repainted and reworked one of these sets into the Italian state railway livery. If I can locate it I will post a photo. I think he did a bang up job.
