More Caledonia action on the L&L

She is a very smooth runner Neil.
Even without a Chuff Pipe the exhaust is distinct and not so fussy as most steamers I have heard.
Does she have long stroke cylinders?
The burner is very distinct but is that just a peculiarity of the camera mike?

Brilliant filming - great audible atmosphere from the steam exhaust to the sounds of the passing wagons. Nice railway, too.

Keith, she does have a long stroke, I think that's what gives her such a stately action. The burner is quieter in the metal, so to speak, but still 'Accucraft' in sound. It seems to be able to be turned down a lot once things have warmed up, but she was undergoingload trials in that vid so she was on the peg!
