Motor for Bachmann Mallet

Can anybody help me with any information about the motor and worm gear used on the Bachmann 2-6-6-2 Mallet ? This is for a fairly long-term project of mine. There's very little detail on the exploded diagram, Bachmann themselves have been less than helpful and internet searches haven't revealed very much. They're not listed as a spare parts. We can probably reverse engineer it if we have to, but any information will be gratefully received.

A search atbachmann.com for the motor part number from the diagram, gives:
