I am dabbing for a while on some of those Occre kits, apparently, they could be motorized?
So that they will be a working model.

Is there any information on it? Is it already done by someone?

With best regards Igor

But I believe it was not that good? - YMMV.

A number have been featured on the Forum. - I think JimmyB JimmyB got a rather nice axle-hung motor from Appletree?

My San Francisco Street Car has two bogies and I built my own in the end:

Remembering that Eileen's Emporium had closed, where on earth can you buy large sheets of ABS or styrene here in UK? As a builder of Gauge 1 and Fn3 rail cars, many of which require building in one piece with overlays, I find myself stuck for material.

Help!!!!

Thankee kindly, Sir.
Another place you can find all kind of materials for modelmaking is the 4D model shop - www.modelshop.co.uk, its an actual shop in a railway arch(es) near Aldwych tube. I think its pretty much the only model shop in Central London.
There is also E.M.A. model supplies the importer of Plastruct, I think they do large sheets of several plastics.
No connection, Just a long term customer of both establishments both mail order and in person

Long time customer here:
For Dutchies this is the place to go.
He also ships.

Igor,

The OCCRE motors were poor. Apparently not sold anymore.

1) For a Barcelona OCCRE tram, I bought 10 years ago in England one set made of laser cut wood, plastic gear and 2 chinese motors.
The motors were burnt after 3 hours.
Disappointed, I decided to find something solid (all steel and brass - no wood nor plastic, Swiss motors, ...)

In France, the "Micro Modèle" shop has sold a kit of gears + support + mashima motors.
"Micro Modèle" shop sells now a set from Romford.
Easy to find in the UK.
It seems that the running axle gear is 3/16. This MIGHT??? fit a Tenmille wheelset. To verify by UK fans.

See my Barcelona OCCRE model: Barcelona

There is a picture with the "anglo/chinese" unsuccesful solution, then amongst the last pictures, the "French" robust solution with Mashima motors and UK Tenmille spoked wheels.
Note: all of this is +/-10 years old, ....

2) As I was planning various models and like robust solutions, similar to real trams motors and trucks, I have designed:
- an "universal" compact motorset that fit a bogie, can be used under floor and is powerful with a Swiss 6-8Watt Maxon motor.
- a BRILL 21E truck that I have used for an OCCRE Istanbul (done), Buenos Aires (in progress), Soller and Lisbon (in stock)
See Istanbul

3) I have designed for a club and produced about 20 motorcar and 20 trailers kits of Belgium trams. (does not fit Occre models)
See SNCV Motorcar
and SNCV trailers

4) for two heavily customized Bachmann trams transformed in Cairo motor car and matching trailer, I have designed a specific truck
See Cairo

Regards, Philippe

I know my reply is almost a year old, but I just saw your post. There are a number of people who have motorized Occre kits. One of them is a fellow on the Occremania Facebook page. He goes by the nickname Putney Tramworks. He has sourced motors, etc. from places other than Occre. I'm sure he can help.

Melbournesparks drew a 3D drawing for a traction motor that could be fitted to the occre models.
I have fitted these traction motors to a couple of models I've converted from using bachman power bogies.
