I recently bought this ESC as I wished to increase the voltage in one on my locos and the Deltang fitted was not rated high enough. I did have a an other ESS but was returned as it would not operate with my MLS.

Currently I am "bench testing" the set up, and I have calibrated the ESU, and set it for LiPo use. On occasion the Rx takes more than 2 seconds (the ESC set-up time) to connect to the Tx, and the ESC red led comes on and the motor runs to full throttle.

So has anybody using a viper had a similar experience, and can you offer any help and advise, many thanks.

I assume that your transmitter is on, and settled, before you turn the receiver/ESC on?

Which model of receiver are you using?

How many cells in your Lipo pack?

I have found that the linking of Rx and Tx with Deltang does take somewhat longer than other varieties of RC.

I got hold of the retailer of the Rx who informed me that the Rx should "centre all servo type outputs soon after switch on". I revieved a message that there is a "bug" in the Rx and a replacement is on its way to me.
