Regner loco's running at a sedate speed with clouds of steam are a joy to watch. I love watching mine happily toddling around the track... without any worry of derailing due to excessive speed!
 
Very, very pretty! If I were ever to venture into the dark and arcane world of live steam, I expect this would be the sort of thing I'd be looking at - I really get put off by the speed that many live steamers seem to run at, and that's what makes the Regners so great. Hope you get lots of fun out of it! :bigsmile:

Inspirational! love the way it powers thru leaves and debris! I'm thinking this loco runs so smoothly because the engine is geared down to drive the wheels. I like it, a nice choice of gift, I'm 65 next birthday and the steam tram version would go well on my layout..... Alas her indoors thinks I need socks and undies as top priority, and I get weird looks when people ask what I want for my birthday and I say "Cash or negotiable instrument".....
 
My partner likes the willi[<font].......can I say that? Yes of course you can, far be it for me to take it out of context.....
 
The Super Konrad has the spectacle plate, bucket and most importantly the water top up system. It looks a bit more british I think.
 
Martin from Martin's Models was great to deal with and did an excellent job of getting the loco adapted and steam tested prior to despatch.
