My latest - LNER Teaks, G-1

I picked up 3 LNER Teak composites from a Dealer in Georgia who normally sells 1/29th on Facebook. They are absolutely gorgeous, and appear to have never been run. Perhaps made by Pete Comley?

What lovely models! Pride of the line, I would think? There was a similar rake at a show over here the other week; I can't recall if they were for sale or being displayed, only that I stood and looked at them for a good long while. You can see why someone might choose not to run them...

Sadly, the name of Pete Comley is almost unheard of over here in UK, unless you are a Gauge 1 afficionado. He is, of course, Sunset Valley Trains, and his gigantic layout, with its 100 foot bridge, is a feature that can make the most of his hundred-car hopper trains hauled by a Big Boy, a Challenger, and an Allegheny - sometimes all three at once.

Lucky you, finding those beautiful coaches - do you have anything Gauge 1 and LNER to haul them?

I've been researching the Brake coach to go with these beauties. The GNR Brake/3rd from Bowater, made for Tony Armstrong at Fareham, is just a pack of laser-cut plywood. $200 [can't get them to answer why they can't deduct VAT] plus $100 for shipping.
Then there's a bunch of metal laser-cut parts from another supplier, which have to be another $100+, +shipping. So I think the cost will be about $500 plus maybe 1-200 man-hours of time. Not to mention the 5 coats of varnish.

I wonder what Tony charges for a complete, painted, coach? Anyone know how to contact him?
