This is very good, can you please give some information as to how it was fitted etc. I think that I am already to go with my Roundhouse Jack as I made an exit from the Boiler to let off excess Steam. With this and the whatwithall that you have used to create a working Whistle I should have a head stat.

Hi Jon

I don't have any pics right now just video. If interested you should go to the DJB website and read their info and ask before you order. In the Billy I needed to remove the battery holder from under the roof to make all components fit. A special metal plug with a banjo fitting replaces the plug on the boiler and provides the tap point for the steam flow. There also is a small cylinder called a resonator which also needs to be installed. Since space is so limited on the Billy I have decided to place my rc battery in a 4 wheel tender behind the locomotive. along with a servo and pull chain to operate the whistle via remote control. I have been running the loco with a small LiFe battery and micro receiver in the compartment under the Billy but will change as mentioned to the tender. You need to drill some holes for the resonator and whistle installation. Silicon tubing with tie wraps is used to run the steam connections. It is not too difficult and DJB will answer questions. You will need to be sure one of their whistles will fit your locomotive and get on their waiting list. They only make about 5 units per month and you may need to wait on another production run. Hope this helps.

Thanks Bob, might need to think long and hard about this. My Jack has lots of mods and a Tender is not an option for the Jack or Stanley Aesthetically for me.

You're welcome. I will say that it does add a lot to the realism and is fun to hear.
