Narrow gaugeing an Aristo 0-4-0

Hi Ricky - nice work. I don't have any spare bells so I bought two from alwayshobbies (you need to google it). Here's a pic of one on the Heisler I bashed from a Big Hauler. The other bell is for my current project.

Quite a large loco, the head of the drive come just higher than a the roof of an LGB four wheeler, I still think it looks quite narrow gauge?

Also nobody has a bell in a spares bin they would be willing to sell me?

Spare bells....
Now that C.......s is approaching ( may even be next week/month looking in some shops ), gold bells may be seen on various products. I've got mine from gold covered choclate bunnies/reindeer/santas available in some supermarkets, or shops like Wilkinsons. As a bonus, you get to eat the chocolate!

Progress on this project is really slow, but between dismantling the railway ready for a house move and school it's getting there.

Got the second tank on after I dropped it and had to rebuild it Also added handrails and detailed firebox. Having a nightmare with the paint on the cab, got the first green coat on and it all crinkled. Could possibly be because of mixing primers and paints from different manufacturers?

Finally this project is nearing an end, other than a few remaining details (steps, buffers, firebox door etc.) I just about have what resembles a complete loco. A bit big perhaps but I don't think totally unbelievable? Paint is still not quite right but I'll come back to that another day, for now I am quite happy with the results

Some pictures posed with a stainz and a van for size comparison, all I need now is to start building the N.L.L.R MkII at the new house so I can begin testing.
