New(ish) Bachmann Forney

I bought one as soon as they were released, Nice little locomotive. All my locomotives use QSI decoders, this locomotive has the bachmann PNP socket which makes DCC installation easy !

I have not really "stress" tested mine so perhaps some others will be able to let you know how much it can pull etc ...

Had a few derailment probs at first and tried all the options in respect of the swinging trucks. Incredible!
Anyway, the problem was due to the front bogie being distorted by pressure from the packaging. Straightened it out and she runs like a dream now.
Am now waiting until I can afford a Massoth XL so that I can run it with the rest of my Spectrum pack!

Good Choice - You will have to post a video when you get the Massoth XL decoder installed !
