hi all heres a few pictures of my K27 i purchased from Jeremy once again service and delivery were excellent. although the courier must have shook one of the parcels to death as the two ams coaches were damaged the couplers and mounts were broken off so i will be looking to pick your brains to fix them:bigsmile:

what make of couplers are they Richie ?

Like it Nico , if you have snow there it would be great to see it in action .

The American Loco`s are beginning to just look better and better the more i see

The couplings are the Accucraft (AMS) knuckle couplings in a red and yellow bag Steve had one packet left in the shop the other day .

That's one heck of a beastie Nico, you'll have some fun with that

I tried mine at plowing last Feb but it was useless at wet snow.
The plow is to high and snow went underneath......got six inches and gave up.
Watch out as well if you backup when getting stuck......the snow pulled off the cylinder ends on mine.

hi nico
thats a very very nice loco i might have to save up to purchase one but then the cylinders hand well out over the track!

tested the loco today to see what adjustments was needed to be made .after been told the k27 would break off my lights on my usa switches i was not a happy bunny, but to my delight there was just enough room even with the smaller switch.next was the tunnel,no problem there. It crossed over the girder bridge but got held up on the far side of the river by the stump of a tree which needs to be cut back a bit more ,not a big job.Got to the truss bridge and guess what:thumbup:
My Truss is to small:crying::crying::timeout::thumbdown: ,by 1/4",so my plan is to take some from either side with a dremel about 2"high should do the trick or i will have another girder bridge:rolf:
