Brilliant! Now, with a small amount of remodelling, you could convert her to a train ferry (like this one at the Hotel Pasewalk in Berlin) ;D

I think my line was from a 'Bond' fantasy..??

The ferry is scary! - An expensive model boat, with an expensive loco on board..
Imagine losing both 'at sea'!? :o :o

Left hand down a bit........oooh errr (for us oldies who listened to the radio way back when)

She looks the biz Paul

Years back, I saw some bloke teasing a swan with his large model of some sort of warship. The swan won! :o

Nice model Paul. Looks great fun. Back in Blighty that would need boiler certificates! ???

And still being repeated on Radio 4Extra.

Did anyone else notice that throughout the series the only two steering instruction were Left hand down a bit" and "Right hand up a bit", both of which would have the same effect?

Certainly an object of desire. Is not envy one of the 10 cardinal sins? If so I am guilty.

Just another little thought, if you could fit her up with working Torpedoes, what fun you could have at the Round Pond sinking all the posh Captain Types Sailing Boats! Evil me, naaah.

Now that sounds like real fun! ;D

Lovely looking model, how long does it run on a full tank?

Not sure yet I haven't got in the water! I need to sort out the Radio for it. but on the stand I've had it steaming at low rev's for about an hour just chugging away and then the gas ran out but the boiler was still half full so the run time will depend on the gas consumption and the need to top up the steam oil I guess I guess?
I'm looking for a twin throttle radio for it seems they no longer make such a beast if any body has a line on an old Robbe F14 marine Radio or Ace nautical please let me know!

I think a Std ramming technique will do nicely at 50Ib's odd it will go right over them!!

Just going round in circles - sounds about right - but remember, they could steer by the stars O0 O0 O0 O0 O0

I was quite surprised to see this is a fairly true representation of a ship that existed (except for the artistic licence on the flak gun) rather than being a generic tugboat with a fancy name.
So how long until we read of singed eyebrows then? :D

Well.............As it turns out it isn't a scale model of Stormking! I looked her up on line and although the lines are similar she's totally different! mine has twin engines and screws stormking was single but it's close enough for me.................

The F14 link is interesting as I was told they are no longer in production? I have shot them an email so I wait with baited breath..........
