New Tram: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

Here are some photos of Canberra’s new CAF trams (which I snapped while out at the supermarket this afternoon) at the Gungahlin terminus. 105 years after a tram network was mooted for Australia’s capital city we are nearly there. This first line (from Civic to Gungahlin) isn’t due to open until later this year but in true GSC tradition they have been ‘testing’!
