Some fellas in the Nearest City have a nice little setup in the Mall for the public to check out.

Very nice layout. As I have said in the past, mostly to myself, if a time ever arrives that the garden railway becomes too much to handle, I would love a nicely detailed layout indoors. I've done it in the past with "O" scale, so I know I can do it again.

A good little layout.
There is definitely something about 'O' scale kit. Small enough to store easily, large enough to be well and robustly detailed and big enough to be used in a garden layout.

A retired colleague of mine had a US outline HO layout in the loft, when his wife sadly passed away a couple of years ago he moved the layout to his living room, with just enough room left for his TV and armchair , a great idea however I will have to wait to do the same as the current Mrs J is in fine health
