Hello all!
I am planning to paint my white styrene skids (pallets) to look like new (or lightly-aged) wood. I've got the texture down since I scribed and rough-sanded the plastic when I built the pieces. But, I'm not sure how to go about painting them to look like the color below.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I bought some wood colour yellow for just such a job some time back from an Arty type shop. I have yet to try them, I intended to finish off with a ‘dry brush run’ of white and grey after to add some interest. Perhaps a very slight addition of matt black or even very thin wash would work as a first pass. Try out on some off cuts of plasticard first.
