I actually like the locomotive very much. As regards the missing return rod, then most viewers, unless alerted by a thread on another forum, would not even notice. Given that on this model the drive rods and valve actuating rods actually move will satisfy most. Ideally, Piko should have supplied the required parts, but as they no doubt consider these toys they design them as such.
