I love the roof profile on these.

Look very long though...will need some very big radius curves to look decent.

Re:PIKO G 37620/37621 "Silberlinge" coaches

The CFL ran them in green & cream, in fact the last have only just gone to scrap.
I wonder why Piko are sticking to 45mm for all this new full size stock? Okay, rule 8, but they do seem to like standard gauge originals.

Interesting model and review.

More interesting was another review (LGB) on the page, Mr. DR, are you the reviewer? If so I have a question to ask you off board.

Reviews on the Gscalereview site by 45mm.nl, are mine :)

Next week when I have my own model at home, I'll add more pics and a more detailed impression.

Re:PIKO G 37620/37621 "Silberlinge" coaches

What scale are these ? I think they are models of standard gauge, main line coaches.

If they are 1:22.5 scale then they would be Gauge 3 and be running on 2.5" (63mm) gauge track ? To be on 45mm track surely they should be 1:32 ?

Is there a trend now to run standard gauge based models as narrow gauge ?

Re:PIKO G 37620/37621 "Silberlinge" coaches

I would assume 1:27-ish like the other Piko and LGB standard gauge models.

Are they worth the money? Well, compared to the LGB DB coaches, only just, at today's prices. But they do make a lovely rake of coaches. Look at the photos and make up your own minds.

They look really nice. I'd be tempted if I had the space on my curves for them :D

something new, something differnt ,something original, is allways welcomed..

I want to purshase 3 or 4 coachs in next few months xmas prezzie's but Piko should take on hand to change plastic wheel sets for steel sets although cost more would look and sound better when running on layout.
