I have only been allowed to look at it and it looks OK, will be good for supplying power to test things with... One fault is that though its for 220volts it came with a 110 V plug fitted.

I would say it's fitted with a Euro 2 pin plug, they look similar to the American 2 pin plug but are for use with 220v and not 110v. Just cut it off and replace with what ever standard is used is your part of the world, subject to the voltage being correct.

Edit very quick thought after posting, you may be able to obtain an adaptor of some sort.
