QUESTION ON LGB TROLLEYS

Does anyone know if LGB trolleys came with four gates or two?

Two, then later four due to fanboy pressure reportedly.

as far back as the 20202 -circa 1988 as i recall-blue and white-which i have
and my more recent wiemar set-

both of my sets have a total of 4
2 per car
not to challenge

it seems that 4 would have/ should have been the norm for a twin set,
as the gates' purpose is to block exit on the street side of the trolley rather than the curbside-

as each trolly has two entrances on each side-each unit should have had 2 gates for each car -ie 4 for a tandem set

I agree. I believe that two gates per car were the norm, even for trolleys sold as a single unit. But that's why I am asking on the question.

The 2006 issue Manner tram had no gates, and the 2006 issue of the cream tram (red pantograph) some had gates, some did not!!!! (I think LGB were having stock problems) Alyn
