The new regulator looks a lot better than those horrible knobs.Nice pics George especially in front of the shed....

a very nicely proportioned engine
looks good with the coaches

Good Morning George!

Looks really nice, especially in black..... and I like the new regulator, too.
Are the cylinders still the same style as from it´s predecessors?

I´m asking because I want to run such locos manual and getting an impression on it´s behaviour would be more than greeat.

kind regards
Klaus

A very nice loco indeed and I totally agree - the black suits it perfectly

Just to confirm the cylinders, indeed everything under the footplate, are/is the same as Edrig and Caradoc. So yes, nicely controllable at various speeds over a wide range of boiler pressures.

I am very taken with this in Black, and can imagine it with BR lining (if anyone has photoshop and some spare time?). Maybe we can come up with some justification for an internal NG line at one of the main workshops absorbed into BR?

Congratulations to George for having a "good eye" when choosing what to buy.

Happy steamings,

John

Looks nice George.I got it in blue.Pic's when I get me safety valve back from the Milton Locomotive Works.

Looks a great loco George, maybe just a little on the small side for my line or i'd snap one up

Nice one George - good to hear from you. You leave those girls alone and concentrate on trains.:rolf:

While I really love open cab early UK steam locos, the Edrig in my mind never really looked 100% right.

Honestly I think it was a bit "too big" to be an open cab UK steam loco, but I really like the Ragleth. I am willing to bet it will be a strong seller for Accucraft UK.
