That really is quite wee, I don't suppose you have a photo of the Peter Witt street car alongside a Bachman G Gauge street car, I'd be interested to see how they compare for size, thanks?

They are built to 1:29 (like Aristocract and USAT std gauge products). LGB and other Bachmann 1:22.5 (can't garantee the proportions) Max

They look very odd when placed next to any 1.22.5 scale equipment.

Thanks, I was hoping the coach in your original photos was a large one and not the standard 1:22.5, that's quite a difference, and I understand why, but someone could quite easily make the mistake of thinking Bachmann large scale trams were size compatible

I was looking for a photo of a streetcar beside a standard railway carriage - but a quick search didn't reveal anything, however, I did find this from the Baltimore Streetcar Museum

They are compatible with many "G" scale trains made specifically for the US market, where Aristocraft picked 1:29 as the scale ratio for their US outline product line. Why they picked that instead of 1:32 is one of life's little mysteries.......

My understanding is that they chose 1:29 to get size similarity with the 1:24 narrow gauge. Size compatibility seemed to be an overriding consideration, in just the same way as the legendary LGB rubber ruler.
