Removing LocoTransfers

I want to remove the factory fitted number transfers and 'Deutsche Reichsbahn' transfer from my LGB loco. I realise that this may be sacrilege to some members but it is all in the interests of giving my loco a 'British' slant. Any advice please on how to do this successfully.
I am away for a few days with 'The Planning Permission Department' for a few days , so may not be able to reply until the weekend.

Nail varnish remover on a cotton bud and elbow grease, if some areas are a bit stubon then a fibre glass pencil works wonders but keep well away from the motor block
 
[align=center]Fibre glass pencil and a damp tissue to collect the scratchy itchy stuff,dont do straight lines as it will score deeply use swirly motions like polishing yer first car, gentle and kind.

Will try methods stated and ONE will surely work.
 
Try T Cut and a bit of elbow grease, worked ok for me.
