So do you still own it Phil ?
I have reworked mine by adding a Spektrum 2.4Ghz receiver and speed controller. I find the range on the original playmobil transmitter to be a bit poor. Guess its ok if you are walking along side the loco.
Hi Jon
Yes, I still have it.. Still on a Playmobil chassis, but that might change now I am Mr RC Trains!

It fits quite well with the 'Industrial' heritage theme of Chasewater Railway, and looks very 'faded NCB' in it's appearance..
Bought a few years back at a G-Rail show.. It was still in the sales area at the end of the day, price had been reduced, and I just had enough left to buy it. - Was meant to be, obviously.
Simple (Playmobil) for the Grandkids, and was cheap enough (very robust model) that I am not too worried it will get damaged.
Goes anywhere in the car, where there is a chance I might get to run something..
The two (rather tatty) wagons live in the same box..
PhilP.
Oh! The Peckforton Light Railway belongs to Rik Bennett, who started RC Trains. Due to ill health, he has decided to pass it on, and I am holding the baton!
