The CFR has just taken delivery of another locomotive. A Roundhouse Engineering “Bertie” with a tender. The locomotive has been named “Queen of the Hills “ and has been blinged like “Himalayan Bird “.

Paul, really like that, thinking of live steam sometime soon, and this looks "just the ticket"

Jimmy, I will be running the locomotives over the weekend. Queen of the Hills will need some running in, so she will run light engine tomorrow and will start hauling wagons on Sunday.

They look nice together Paul......:h:

The new locomotive joined the CFR fleet of live steam locomotives:-

Unfortunately Queen of the Hills didn’t get to make her maiden run due to lack of drivers. Hopefully she will get a run tomorrow.

Looks great, good family look to them with the same "bling" added and same tenders. I had a Bertie for awhile, great runner once she is run in fully. I was getting over 30min of run time if I kept on top of keeping the gas turned right down through out the run, and replacing the weepy RH safety valve with a proper "pop" safety valve from Wee Bee Locomotive works. She was traded for a nice Regner Konrad geared engine, which creates less anxiety while running on my raised railway in my rock garden. The new Jennie looks great as well! Mike
