Roundhouse locos and Kaydee couplers

My railway currently has three link couplings throughout but I find them tedious when shunting and I suffer from buffer lock. I have tried Kaydee couplers on one train and find them really good. I am therefore thinking about converting all my stock.

My question is, has anyone had experience of fitting Kaydee couplers to Roundhouse locos. Can they cope with the lateral movement of the buffer beam when an 0-4-0 with a long overhang goes round a four foot radius curve. What is the best way to fit them?

Regards
Peter

I dont know anything about the loco's except they do look very good, I have used KD #1 and gscale coupllers and they do work on track down to no1 radius, I have tried them at my club track, and my six wheel and four wheel locos have been fine,

;)Hello Moon Raker
Here at Abercanyon we use Kadee and LGB knuckle.
There is a Kadee available for buffer mounting, However, you will need to drill the bufferbeams. We find the best solution for Roundhouse locos is a straight swop using LGB knuckle. This coupling is fully compatible with Kadee but make require a bit of tweaking to get the height right. The LGB will of course not work on the track magnet. However light pressure underneath is all that is required to uncouple. There are 2 pics attached.
