Anyone that has tried using a 'fit all' 45 mm running point will know that a catalogue purchase turnout will present a problem.
The video shows a G1 Duchess running over a GRS custom made point with no problems. Similar success with LGB, Roundhouse and MTH etc.
There is a fine balance in turnout construction and you will need a custom made hand built job to achieve this. On my railway at least GRS are to be congratulated!
