Hi folks
I mentioned a while back that Roy Wood has bought up the PPS Janet and De Winton designs, plus parts and enhancements for the 'Mamod' type locos. Well Roy's RWM Steam Models now has its first price list which is on my website until Roy has one sorted.

Currently have enough parts to build a improved mamod. I found an I p boiler in the loft when I moved house that I forgot I had. Thanks for this- really happy he's doing spiked wheels and decent coupling rods. Called him, very helpfull and friendly will place an order this week.

Yes indeed Tom - though I wouldn't like to have to explain to my wife that I was off to a "JaneUp' with my friends

Love that line up! Think the Jane has an important place in the history of our scale steam- a real loco of its time. Considering how many we're made very few appear second hand.

Now accucraft prices have gone up the Jannet is becoming a cheap starter engine.

Only thing I do want to find for my loco is a new chimney. The mamod one is to fat and low for my taste.

With all the money we have tied up in very expensive locomotives, I think we have more fun @ Diamondhead lashing our Janes together. That is especially true during the Keystone Cops type fire drills servicing them, while they are under steam...
