S/H Roundhouse VOR price

Not sure if this is the best place to post this... but here goes.

does anyone know a what a fair price for a secondhand Roundhouse VOR would be? (with all the extras)

Difficult one, but if it's in good order, not less than 75% of the price of a new one I'd say. Maybe more - once these thngs are a couple of years old, they don't seem to depreciate much.
 
I have been looking at getting a second hand one of these for some time. None have appeared at a decent price. A couple on Ebay in that time both reached around £2,500 and a member on here had one last Christmas for £2250, but I dont think it sold and he doesnt seem to be on the forum now. An all-blue one sold recently on Ebay with the GWR style nameplates and number fitted in a odd place making a strange looking engine,and that did go a little cheaper, £1600 I think.
However as I have now ordered a 'Caledonia' for early 2011 I am currently saving up, not looking to spend !
