Tony Walsham
Manufacturer of RCS Radio Control.
After a number of requests for a more user friendly TX handpiece for basic live steam locos, RCS is pleased to announce the TX-3.
This is more or less the same as the TX-2s in that it has 2 x knobs and one push-button for a servo whistle. The two accessory push-buttons are omitted as most operators only want a whistle control. This enables room on the label for better indication of what the controls actually do and how to use them.
For now the TX-2s is still available but will soon be phased out in favour of a new TX-7 handpiece that will be available soon and have the controls as per the TX-3 with the addition of four push-button sound triggers. The TX-7 is still aimed at Live Steam use, but is also suitable for use with RCS ADVANCED ESC's that have four sound trigger outputs.
