Hi folks
We often talk about the importance of slow running, but it is rare to see a loco perform quite like Roy Wood's De Winton did on Tuesday. Not only was it slow, with a heavy load, but the sound was astonishing - even to me!
The train was running as 7/8ths" scale and load in question was a rake of eight ex works general purpose wagons, built to carry timber, stone slabs etc. on the Summerlands Light Railway.
