This model was made over 20 years old but still going strong, an excellent runner. I have fitted it with a Zimo MX696KS motor and sound decoder and a Massoth 57mm super flat 2W 8 ohm speaker (8241020). Keen observers will note I have tried to make it resemble loco 698-01 from OBB with insignia and number plates, but these are all stuck on with Copydex (rubber glue) and can easily be removed. I fitted a new traction tyre as the old one had perished. I have added black lamp surrounds on all four lights and painted the wheels (red), steps (black) and a few other details. I have removed the smoke generator but it is included.
The Zimo decoder has many settings for motor sound and lights, but it is shipped with everything at default settings including address (3) except for the light output voltage (CV 60) which has been reduced from blinding to bright.
The loco comes in its original box in good condition, with the following goodies (see picture):

Here is a YouTube video link showing the loco on a rolling road with sound turned on (F8)
Other pictures:
As factory shipped the loco is decoder ready with a 6 pin interface. Here is a link to a thread of my writeup of how I initially digitized the loco with a Massoth XL motor decoder and a Massoth S sound decoder.
