That's unbelievable, Paul. Try not to let it screw up your Christmas. I'll keep an eye out on the interweb for these.

Not sure what to say - so much for good will.

I can't believe people can stoop so low at Christmas.

I'll keep a watch out for these items too.

Have a good Christmas Paul....

Gutted for you Paul..

CCTV?

Or did they know how to evade the cameras?

Sorry to hear about that Paul, that is just such a despicable crime from somewhere that entertains for the public good. I know what I would do with them, let us just say they would be talking a few octaves higher.

I don't want to worry you, but having got away with it once, there is a risk they might return. Worth investing in some additional security measures.

Phil, they were picked up on the carriage and wagon works cctv. Access was along the track, so they bypassed the locked gates to the station.

Rick, security already beefed up. All of the remaining locomotives have been moved into an high security area. The worse thing is that it would appear that they were aided by outside security lights that are motion activated. There is one right outside my workshop which is shielded from the driveway. It illuminated the workshop door which they attacked to gain entrance.

I agree wholeheartedly with you Jon.

casey jones snr casey jones snr did any of the stolen items have identifying features, such as a particular coloured blob of paint underneath, or even marked with one of those pens that only show up under UV light (which the police have)? Anything that would be a dead giveaway that it / they come from your collection.

From experience, at work and on the domestic front (family, not me) the chances of a return visit are pretty high.

It might be worth laying some bait - any chance of putting a tracker inside a loco? and letting Plod know what you're doing?
