SUSI cable anyone?

Does anyone know where I can source a SUSI cable, or more accurately, a cable with a SUSI interface plug on it? I ask because the Train Line 45 point motor contains a SUSI interface which is used to attach external contacts (e.g. reed switches). Train Line say that they have an accessory to suit this, but there's nothing on their web site!

Any help gratefully received. :thumbup:

Do you mean the little tiny 4-pin plug, smaller even than the Massoth/LGB connecting plugs? If so, I've got a leftover lead from a Massoth S installation, with what I assume are SUSI plus on both ends, joined by 4 wires about 9" long. If it's of any use to you, PM me your address and I'll stick it in the post to you.

You get one of these "free" with each Massoth S unit, in case you want to connect the sound module to a SUSI-equipped decoder - so anyone that uses an S but just connects it via the two track power leads, as I did in my KoF, will have this cable left over. I could probably start a nice little trade in my surplus ones.....:bigsmile:

The "susi "interface was developed by Deitz and as far as I can tell is only available through them or people they supply. I stand to be corrected or shot down

I haven't seen a SUSI cable and plug "in the flesh", but can't help thinking it'll be a standard sub-miniature plug and socket of some kind (4-pole?) and therefore should be available as component parts or perhaps on some cheap spare part computer cable on ebay etc. Just need to positively identify the type of plug.

Developed by Dietz the SUSI interface allows a http://www.dccwiki.com/Decoder < Link To decoder to pass information on to further devices - up to three (3). At present there are two core uses for SUSI-modules.
Sound Modules Modules to generate sound based on the messages from the decoder. For example this allows the sound to change based on speed changes, as the decoder is requested to reduce speed the SUSI sound module could play a brake squeal sound. Additional functions Modules to increase the number of outputs available. These are defined as Auxiallary outputs. The spec. allows for Aux. outputs A-P to be defined. These can then be mapped (as with on-decoder functions) to DCC functions e.g. F5 triggers AUX Output D. SUSI and the SUSI-LOGO were developed by:
