This tramway production «Brush Electrical Engineering Company» was made in 1907 in the amount of 190 pieces, at the opening of the first streetcar line in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Perhaps you have more photos of this sample tram.

Thanks in advance.

It certainly is - they well predate the Pivotal Truck!

The trams were built by Brush in Loughborough 1907, and the tramway inferstructure by Westinghouse.Prior to that some horse trams had been electified.
Thank you for your interest in the history of St. Petersburg tram .

However, you have to " disappoint " - in St. Petersburg not kept any historical tram Brush built in 1907 .

Cars number 1028 and 1031 are attempts to simulate cars Brush.
And if the car number 1028 "gives" its origins - MC-1 tram built Putilov (1927), the car number 1031 to recreate the authentic drawings and is very similar to the original.
More details can be found here ( unfortunately only in Russian ) .

A couple more photos of the car Brush 1907:

More photos and uniaxial tram trolley system Nurnberg/Becker, who were equipped with these cars:

Interesting pictures - very high powered delegation at the opening it seems - and the truck/s (wonder if the two axles were cross linked?).
