Well they still keep coming out.
Copious amounts of water in the boiler. Most of the contents of your tin of gas into that huge storage tank.
Check steam oil, Open drain cocks, mine are always open (levers lost in the grass years ago)!
Don't have to bother with RC. Regulator only open a tad and off she goes. Don't worry about the
gradient, the old girl may have to pull up her skirts a bit but she will never stop

Accucraft number 461 in the picture is outwardly showing her age and yes, she has had some years of running, but the 27s and the 28s are still an icon
Always have been, always will be, just see her run

The problem here as I see it Richie is that 99.9% of folk have never seen one in the paint shop, so you have a product there that some might say is not prototypical.
Just try and be brave and 'slop a bit of muck' on it!
