Thought this is worth a new thread. Elmtree Keith reckons that his is the only CP S4 in the country and he could be well be right as nobody here has challenged him

I reckon my Rock Island GP40 could well be the only one this side of the pond as only 200 have been made. Does anyone else have one? Also does anyone else have a model which they think maybe the only one in the country?

We could hi-jack this thread by doing another Stainz ownership count.

I've got seven not owned by Paul.

I have a USA trains Reefer for the Alaska RR in lime green only 80 were ever made .

Much of my Aristo-Craft rolling stock was never offered for sale in the United Kingdom. Two of my RS3 locos also fit that category.

However, I will not tempt providence by making any claims.

I'll add four - the ubiquitous modern green starter-set No.2, and three very old ones - Red cab No.1 from the 100th Anniversary set (the slightly rarer one with the red smokebox), old Brown cab No.1, and an even earlier black cab No.4 (with the little D-shape rear coupling). Not gone as far back as a "growler" yet! Two already chipped with sound, two waiting to be done (the brown No.1 was a pig to reassemble with an LS in the boiler, nowhere for all the b****y wiring to go - must try to figure out a better way when I do the No.4!). I don't NEED any more Stainzes.... really, I don't..... I can stop anytime I want, honest..... ;)

Jon.

I can only count 20 in that pic, Paul - where are the other three hiding? ;)
My recollection is that the Stainzmaster has always got a bit confused when the numbers got over 20 :rolf::rolf::rolf:

and only 79 sets of bogies by the look of it :rolf:
The Rockery Ridge RR took the trucks off to prevent the Reefer from being stolen :rolf:

Latest Railking PA A-B-A set, Union Pacific, cab no.s 604, 606B and 607 - known as honourary steam engines in the US for the vast amount of smoke these Alcos put out, these Railkings also blast out an amazing volume of smoke.

These tankers are all 1 offs, each one is different because I can' measure, cut or glue anything properly

This is the only one in the country (so far)
because it has taken me more than a year to do another one for the other end.
