Yes it's perfectly possible to fit hook and loop couplings to this stock (which is made by Accucraft BTW). However, it does usually require some cutting of the buffer beam and fabricating a mounting to get the coupling at the right height.

Glad you all seem to like the brake van in Bauxite. As always by the time you take a photograph and then look at it on a computer the shade is never quite the same as the actual paint. I'd say possibly a bit less orange/red in the flesh, in reality a good match for early BR bauxite.

Now half close your eyes and imagine a few private owner wagons and vans, mixed with some Bauxite wagons and vans, add a few grey ones for variety, and this brake van on the end.........
