Looking to trade my LGB/Aster Frank S live steamer for something from Merlin, Roundhouse ect that is of UK outline and has wheels that can be regauged preferably. Might even go for one of the Bassett Lowke live steam Moguls. My Frank S has 2.4ghz RC installed, working front lanterns, runs excellent as can be seen in a few of my posts recently. Original box is included(missing one end flap though) and the manual is copy of the original one. Let me know what you have, never know what might interest me, even if its not on my wish list. MIke
 
Cash asking price is $1150 plus shipping costs. I would also be interested in an Ogwen, either the original Marsh version or the later version from Maxwell Hemmens. Thanks again. Mike
 
I would have possibly been interested, Mike (as a cash purchase, I have nothing to offer in a swap) but I fear that the combination of the poor dollar/pound rate right now, the insured shipping costs plus the £200 that HMRC would demand in VAT when it arrived here make it pretty much a non-starter..... :mad:

Those darn taxes always get in the way! About as bad as the exchange rate for stuff from the UK to here has been for many years. Been playing with my old Mamod railway set today. I probably really should get a geared Regner engine for some stress free running on my lines. And I can change the gauge on those. Mike
