It is worthwhile having a gander at the other manufacturers new stuff. LGB for instance looks to be promising an RHB Allegra TriebZug set.

Well, September has come and gone..... any more word on the Mallet?

Given that the Fiffi/Pfiffi 0-6-0 has at least reached the hand-built sample stage, has the Mallet ever been seen in this form?

Again a pre-production sample, though whether this is a handbuilt prototype or actually a first-off sample from the factory run is not 100% clear.

Edit: Hmmm, just read the text again on this and noticed that it now states delivery in 2013.... not late 2012 as promised.

price as near as dam it is to swearing 250 gbp for the starter set seams resonable but i think there maybe some add on s like vat and import as well as postage and packing so it may not be the bargain were led to believe mind three flats and a loco cant be too bad
