I am selling two LGB 5065(0) level crossings. These were bought for a garden project that took a different turn so I don’t need them anymore. Both are boxed and have 5065 on the underneath but one came in a 50650 box. I have tested the mechanisms on both, which swing freely up and down when the weight of a loco is removed or added as illustreted by the U-Class below. The screwheads are all good as far as I can see. I removed and replaced several to check and encountred no problem.
Crossing 1 in the three LH pictures comes with the X-warning signs which have been glued into position. Also there is the base of another sign glued on one side (white object in lower RH corner). I have not attempted to remove it but you could no doubt do so.
Crossing 2 in the three RH pictures is missing the X-warning signs but has no further additions.
Kit bashers please note that the barriers are screwed to the bases, not glued, and therefore can be easily removed for modification or use elsewhere. Equally there is space underneath to remove the mechanical mechanism and fit electrics if you have those skills (I don’t).
Will sell separately or together for £10 each + postage or £20 for the two. Postage separately would be £3.00 each (or £4.00 with a signature). Postage for the two combined would be £5.10 (or £6.10 with signature). Both with Royal Mail.
