USA Trains ALCO S4 Union Pacific - Any expereince of this loco

Here is video of my GP7 with Phoenix 2k2 sound running on analogue. It has got some clever electronics. The horn blows at start of moving and at times when it is going round. Brakes squeal on stopping. A most useful feature is the way the revs drop as soon as even a small drop in voltage is detected. This enables me to find poor connections early and before they are noticeable in any other way. Thus the sound card is not a toy it is essential testing equipment!

Hi Chris
Yes I really like the, now superseded, 2K2. I have a couple and they are really only equaled, in the analogue world, in quality of sound by the now obsolete Soundtrax Sierra sound boards and also the ESU boards (but you do need DCC to utilise all of the available sounds with the ESU)

Are those a special version of 'Spacehoppers' that are about ten cars back in the second video!

No, no, no, they are especially made transporter wagons for 12" to 1' Jaffa Cakes, with an urgent consignment just for Gizzy....

That was meant to be somewhere near Santa Fe livery. I have toned them down

My S4 hasn't seen much running as yet, ran mainly live steam during 2010.

I Believe my version is the only one in this livery to leave the states
