Wagon details

Plastrukt and another firm (name escapes me) do various useful styrene shapes (shallow U-channel and T-angle) in sizes large enough to use for G scale wagon strapping, etc. Eileen's Emporium (among other traders) stock them - either via mail order or at model shows.

If you are building US style freight cars, it's worth looking at the online catalogue of an American firm: Ozark Miniatures. They have a very useful range in both 1;22.5 and 1:20.3 scales including car and loco details, and also some accessories. Not plastic, they are white metal castings and not too expensive as they're top quality. I've dealt with them twice and received good service.
